NOSTALGIC FOR BREAD

Being of Lithuanian descent and living in Newark, we always had Lithuanian bread in the house. I never knew where my father got it, but just took it for granted. Today I'm able to buy Lithuanian bread at a German butcher in Forked River and also at the Toms River open-air market in the summer. There is such a variety of bread now and I particularly LOVE the multi-grain bread. (Can't get enough!)

AN EASTER TRADITION COMES TO FLORIDA

Having lived in NJ most of our lives, my family were regular customers at your bakery. My Dad worked "down the Port" and we always had your Babka and other baked goods for the holidays or family gatherings. We especially remember the pumpernickel rolls which were still be warm from the ovens when we picked them up. We couldn't wait to get them home to have them with butter and coffee. Unfortunately, like a lot of families from that area, we now live in different parts of the country. My brother and his family surprised us this Easter by bringing your Babka, rye bread and nut roll for Easter. My brother told me about your web site and I just had to write and say thank you............it was a special Easter for us by having a little bit of "tradition" in Florida!

THE "OFFICE MORALE OFFICER"

Wow, I am impressed. I ordered bakery items on Friday, sad that I had forgotten about Paczki Day and Mardi Gras until the last minute. As I was placing the order, I was resigned to having the paczki late. Imagine my delight when they arrived ON Mardi Gras in time to perk up the flagging spirits of me and my fellow co-workers.

In addition to the extremely fast turn around, I am doubly delighted that these paczki's are some of the best I have ever had. All my co-workers have been telling me how delicious they are, so I wanted to drop you a note to say THANK YOU!

We live in corpus christi,texas,our son lives in brooklyn,ny,,, his last visit he brought us breads from your bakery,,the THREE KINGS BABKA,RASPBERRY,NUT AND FRUIT was just the BEST coffee bread i have ever put in my mouth!!!! There is a lady in that orders breads for her daughter every Christmas. She sends in her order and has it shipped to her daughter's Virginia home.

The passers through

Normally you get the people that find something good and when they move away, they can't always find their usual favorites so they have it shipped. We have customers that were passing through on their way to home in North Carolina. They liked our baked goods so much that they regularly order shipments to their home. Instead of bringing a taste of home to a new place, they are bringing a new taste to their home.
